Late Tuition Reimbursement for 2012
I started taking classes last fall and my employer provide tuition reimbursement. however, I am late to file the tuition reimbursement to be counted toward 2012 limit. The deadline was December 18 2012.
Has anyone experienced this before and have suggestions on how I can get ADP ( tuition reimbursement processor) to help me to get the tuition reimbursement to be counted toward 2012 limit instead of 2013? I wanted the reimbursement to be counted toward 2012 limit because I am still taking class this year and I would love to get the full amount for both year.
Is there any legal / tax implication of this that prevent this?
