You'll want the warranty for the 60D. The rubber grip peeling off is a common issue with it.

Accidental damage protection for 3 years for an extra $40?? Heck yeah! I would do it, but it all depends on how you use your camera. If you travel with it or if you have small children that might get there hands it then I'd say it's well worth it.

One time I left my 60D too close to the end of the kitchen counter and my little girl grabbed the strap and pulled it off and it fell 3ft to a tile floor. The lens went flying off and the flash popped open, and my hear jumped up into my throat. Luckily there was no damage other than a few scuffs, but that very incident made me wish I had bought the accidental protection.

I don't understand why SlickDeals mods and eBay keep propping up this seller. Actually, I get why eBay does. They look the other way for high-volume sellers because they bring in the dough.

But why do the mods keep FPing deals from this seller I don't get. They are not an authorized seller and they straight up lie about the warranties on their cameras. The sheer amount of posters on these threads saying "b-b-b-but they say 'Canon USA Warranty'!?!?!" shows that a lot of people are being misled by BigValueInc's false advertising. I would never purchase a damn thing from them due to their practices.

This is the same dealer that had many delays on prior sales with many unhappy customers.
Just for few dollar cheaper, don't buy the unwanted trouble and hassle.
Look at their ebay feedbacks if you don't believe me.
As pointed out above, this dealer is not authorized Canon seller so Good buy that very needed warranty also if you get the item in your hand in first place.
Look for frequent deals from Adorama or B&H and say No to troublesome temptation this one creates for you.

Agreed. If you don't care about manufacturer's warranty, don't care about going through headaches with these guys IF you do have a warranty claim, and want to buy an extended warranty, which brings you close to the price you could pay from an authorized dealer, then BVI is your company.
