If you don't know what this is, you definitely don't need/want it.

I haven't heard of ITU, but it seems like it should be okay. I'm in the middle of getting the 2nd half of the CCNA cert. A couple of cheaper options:

There's getting the certification that helps, but nothing beats experience which good companies look for with potential employees.

Experience is better than certs but some jobs also need certs. I started to apply for a DOD job last night but then I saw it required a CISSP which I don't have. I got my first CCNA about 10 years ago. It's too bad these things expire.
