For anyone that is buying with a Discover card, remember you have 90 days to do use price protection. If you find a lower price within that time period, Discover will send you a check for the difference (up to $500 per item, total of $2500 overall per calendar year) after sending in some documentation of the lower price and your originally paid item's receipt.

Really want the 47lm7600 for the bedroom BUT I'm afraid it won't fit.
Width wise the TV is 41.9 inches. II have about 42.5 inches of space between the two doors i would place this thing. And between the baseboards i have about 40 inches. I would buy a wall mount and mount it - there would be very little clearance between the two doors.... Maybe i should wait for a 42 inch tv

I've been looking at plasma's and the best I've found is a Samsung P59D8000F for 1200 with tax. Considering that the 7000 series is the same Picture Quality (PQ) how does the LG LED 47LM7600 or the plasma's compare? I'm trying to pull the trigger at about $1000 for wifi connectivity via laptop and best PQ. My laptop will provide all the "bells and whistles" I need.

The lg 47 is the one I actually wanted. And this is a price I'd be more than willing to pay for.
Closed for orders, so I'll have to call in tomorrow. How is LG for fixing the ones with problems? Or is it not worth the risk/chance? No shipping, no tax.....tough to beat for the one that I've been looking for. |

Regarding the VT50 i'm in the same boat as everyone else, buy now, or if there's enough stock, hope that the price drops to sub-2k. The 2013 lineup is interesting as there appears to be a 65" S60, ST60, VT60 AND ZT60, so it should be interesting. Not sure how this year's model will stack up against next year's.
Keep in mine that last year's VT30 is considered to have slightly inferior picture quality to this year's ST50, so very hard to know what to do. I'd rather not drop $2400 on a VT50 only to find out that the S60 or ST60 is better. |
