Just by way of comparison, the P65VT30 never broke the $2K barrier according to CCC, and it hit it's low of $2,028 in late June. The lowest Jan. price was around $3k and there was no real price drop until April. So take that history for what it's worth, but if you have to have a VT50 (and I say this as a proud ST50 owner who thinks the VT50 is overkill), I would take this price and run, run, run. 4 to 6 months ownership has got to be worth something.
95% of a great deal is better than 100% of the greatest deal that never occurred. |

Will Adorama accept orders and ship to Calif? How about sales tax? Does the LG 47LM7600 model have any LED back-lighting bleeding issues?
I called up Fry's near my home here and they agreed to price match but will have to shell out sales tax in CA ... I am in a dilemma if it is worth getting shipped from NY to CA and if there's any issue, I'll have to ship it back v/s getting it locally from Fry's if price matched + CA sales tax. I also went to Best Buy and showed them this ad. and they told they don't have this model in the store so they can't price match. The sales guy also said that the deal is too good to be true and it's possible Adorama (or anyone I get it from if price matched) would ship you a refurbished unit -is that true? How to distinguish between a new and refurb. one? |

I believe Adorama is pretty reputable from what I have gathered. They are A+ on BBB (if that means anything anymore).
But, are they an authorized LG reseller? I have been trying to find a list of authorized LG resellers but cannot find any. This may not be an important piece of information anyway, though, since they do not accept any returns on TVs. |
