The 50 prepaid card does not get added to the cart despite being shown as included on the screen where all the phones are listed. This may be a problem when trying to argue the case with T- Mobile...

The $50 card doesn't show up in my cart , placed an order anyway. Need something to tide me over until I can get the Nexus 4.

Guys, quick question related to T-Mobile. As you may know, they recently announced the $70 unlimited 4G plan recently.

My question: is that 4G as in LTE? Or is it the 4G one gets when using the $30 for 5gb of 4G plan (sometimes referred to as +HSPA)??

I got this phone the first time around. Isn't too bad. The unlocking process was a bit of a hassle as I have a prepaid account with TMobile but they required me to "use" the phone. I have prepaid because I don't have much use for the phone but need it for emergencies. The phone is comparable to the Galaxy S2 spec wise and after taking care of the junk on the phone, it is quite usable. I would recommend this phone as a great backup phone or for someone who uses smartphones for non-gaming reasons. (I like my computers to be able to game, everything else should not.)

The $50 GC doesn't show up in the cart for me as well but seeing how someone has talked to a rep, I'll try the same.

Well it's probably both. Currently T-Mobile is running HSPA+ which is pretty quick, but they are still working on LTE. Supposed to be launching soon. So once it's up I'm guessing as long as you have a compatible device you should be okay.

LTE and 4G are different. LTE is newer and much faster. The internet speed on the $70 plan is the same as the $30 plan. T-mobile 4G uses HSPA/HSPA+. The speed varies depending on your location. Some cities may only have HSPA which is slower than HSPA+.

decent deal, got this last go around; where it was the opposite, no mention of $50 card on product page but shows up in cart. just seems like you are rolling the dice this go around. i would wait till it's confirmed the card is included.

I got this phone last time for same price w/ 50$ refile card. Great phone. The most interesting thing to me is the battery. For light usage (several short calls), it lasted for 5-7 days and regular usage for 4 days. Much better than S2.

If you are not comfortable placing the order due to $50, go ahead and get it clarified through an online chat.

I opened an online chat and I was confirmed that I'll be getting a $50 card. I have saved the chat transcript along with the order number!!!!
