Panasonic TCP60GT50 - 60" 600Hz 1080p Plasma 3D HDTV $1700 shipped

I am leaning towards the 60" since I am not a major connoisseur of resolutions, but I can tell 55 from 60 :-).

The Best Buy has a Magnolia in the corner and that is where they have the Plasma TVs. The uber-bright LEDs take center stage in the main shopping area :-). I plan to go in today and check this out at the Magnolia station. Hope they can do a price match.

in case they don't price match, has paul's tv been satisfactory with their shipping, handling and returns? based on the reviews i read of this TV, i really haven't found very many returning it (unlike some of the LEDs that have had light bleeding issues). Since Best Buy is local, returns would be easier for me if needed.

You can go in and have a PA done as many times as you want until the timeframe has expired, I have until 01/25/12, not sure what the standard timeframe is for PA because I did my purchase during the holidays when they were offering it for an extended time.

I bought a TV from them before and my first TV arrived damaged, but they shipped me out a new one right away and had no issues with the second one. 28 days later I found a lower price and they credited my CC for $100 to match the lower price. So bottom line, I would buy from them again, especially since I don't get charged tax from them.

I've also done a successful PA from BB on my 50GT50. I bought it with a PM.

I check SD regularly, eagerly awaiting the next PA opportunity.

I have the 65" VT30 [ 2011 model ] and it is amazing!!! The 2012s [ x50 series ] could have only improved on it!!

Print out a copy of the TV in your 'cart' with the coupon added from Paul's. This will give you a hardcopy of the net price at the bottom. Bring it to BB with your original receipt. Go to customer service and ask for a price adjustment.

The CS person took a minute to go online and verify the website. Then she gave me my PA.

Was going to take the price match to Amazon or Best Buy but when I checked out to compare the costs, Paul's didn't charge sales tax even though they should be for California. It's really weird, checking out through Paul's I get environmental fee no tax, checking out through Amazon Payments I get no fee or tax, checking out through Google wallet I get charged tax, and Paypal removes the discount. I ended up ordering this from Paul's via Amazon payments.

I just got the 60gt50 at BB with the price match to $1700. I logged into my Paul's account on the pc behind the counter in the Magnolia area at their request and entered the code to show the net price. Salesman asked his manager and he says no problem. It was the BB in Chandler, AZ at fashion center. Set to deliver on Friday and I'm excited.
