For you to receive a $10 referral credit for inviting a new Amazon Student member, you must have a valid customer account on www.amazon.com, and the eligible college student who accepts your invitation must be a new Amazon Student member and not an existing or returning member of Amazon Student, Amazon Mom, or Amazon Prime, and must complete the Amazon Student signup process and be accepted into the Amazon Student program. You will receive a referral credit only if the new Amazon Student member uses your link to create the new account. We will determine in our sole discretion which link is used to create the account. Referral credits are not available to Amazon Student members who are residents of the following states: Arkansas, North Carolina, or Rhode Island.

We may void your referral credits or terminate your account, or the accounts of Amazon Student members you refer, if you or they take any of the following actions:

1. Open multiple accounts, including with different email addresses, for the same person in order to generate additional referral credits
2. Use spam or send unsolicited emails to people you don't personally know to collect referrals
3. Collect referrals by posting on message boards or other online venues in violation of such venues' terms of use
4. Invite fake people to join Amazon Student, use false names, impersonate another person or otherwise provide false or misleading information to us
5. Violate these terms or any other of Amazon's terms and conditions in any way
6. Participate in the Student Referral Program where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law or regulations

Curious why Arkansas, North Carolina, and Rhode Island are blacklisted. What state law/regulation would make these referrals bonuses invalid?

SD is paid by those shady merchants = never going away

The more links spammed = more money. That is why you see deals posted that are complete garbage.

Blacklist all the ads and redirects. I love surfing without SD referrals.
Is there an easy way to get the link without the redirects? earlier it was easy to just take out the sd part, now they are messing the url up even more.

SD is awesome. People who have a problem with their business model should just leave the site. So what if they promote other businesses. You should be able to utilize your own judgement to determine if something is a good deal or not. I've learned my lesson with 1saleaday, gave them 2 chances and got burned both times. Thankfully AMEX was there to bail me out.

There is a website on google where you can easily get an edu. from a community collage online. Do this 20 times and youve just made $200.

While that may work, you will still need 20 credit cards, each with a different number and name associated, because Amazon Student signup requires a CC. Just FYI to the people who are looking to make a "quick" buck on Amazon's dime. Abuse the system, get banned.

Dear God people are going to exploit this to the nth degree. Decent chance Amazon will shut it down very quickly.

Have fun with the fraud y'all...
