Point being, if you are reading the FAQ for system requirements, you are probably thinking this game has some advanced graphics/sound. You are seriously going to be disappointed if that is the case.

I also like to get my doors reinforced to the highest level so that the invaders suffocate before they can even make it to the med-bay.

OK, I watched a video when this came out and the graphics looked so super lame I gave up on it.

But y'all are having me reconsider. Is this game actually not as awful as it looks?

just stopping by to give this game 2 big thumbs up!

after you've played the vanilla game for a bit and either beaten it or just start getting board/overwhelmed with it, get the mod that stops the fleet pursuit. this allows you to explore every point in each system. you will get ridiculously overpowered after just a couple of systems, but it is a lot of fun.

From my first impression, I looked at the graphics and instantly gave it a pass. Then I read the comments on here, bought the game, and have been pleasantly surprised.

The game is pretty hard even on easy mode. Stayed up until 3am last night playing and eventually made it to the last system. Of course I got wrecked but it's all a learning process. This game is a must get at $5!!

lol no, actually. I expected it to have reasonable/low-ish requirements. I just didnt want to put it on my laptop have have it not run properly. The game runs well. For those who want to go fullscreen choose the Fullscreen (Stretch) setting. It gives you max resolution for your screen. I LOVE the soundtrack. haha. Game is fun so far. I really like the simplicity. Its honestly like reading a good story. You want to do all these things but you dont get as much visual depth so your imagination does the rest. I really like it.

Also to the guy I was replying to - Im pretty sure it requires a bit more than that to run. Minimum resolution is also 1280x720. Has to run HDish or more. Sure phones can do that now but still.

Does anyone running windows 8 have it running properly. My game runs so slow its unplayable.
