Thank you for posting this. I ran across the story but couldn't find it again later. Glad to see today's youth willing to defend their homes and families from criminals.
The kid seems to have been a pretty good shot. Some here will tell you that someone without police / military training couldn't possibly defend themselves effectively with firearms. It's not one time. Read the links in the article. And almost every "gun saved somebody" article. The gun scares off the intruders. That's a good thing, don't get me wrong. But the "homeowner blows head off robber in sustained firefight" is a rare one indeed. |

You know why you won't see this in the news (except maybe local news)? Because "person defends home with gun" isn't friggin news. It happens every day. It's not a conspiracy, it's just not interesting news. No matter how helpful the feature, how easy it is to disable, or how good your intentions, someone somewhere will hate it and think you're a monster for implementing it.- Anonymous Developer
