Felon goes to Walmart to buy a gun. he goes through a background check (BGC). He is denied.

He walks to the nearby gun show/flea-market/h\garage sale and buys the same gun from a private seller. yes, he is violating the law but since the seller does not know he is a felon the seller has not violate the laws. Hence the loophole.

No it does not. This is not the first time you have misinterpreted the utility and function of "if" in a logical argument.

Here: if we fired all teacher we would (initially) save a lot of money.

Are you claiming I am supporting firing of all teachers?

Here is another one: is response to "we can never stop flow of guns into schools" I could say, "if we used metal detectors we can". That is a logical argument and it does not necessarily mean I am for installing metal detectors or for banning guns in schools.

So it has nothing to do with gun shows specifically, and is just considered a private sale. I've been to a few gun shows, and have not seen any private sellers with a table - all the tables were gun stores, with FFLs. Could just be the shows I've been to? Not sure why they call it the "gun show loophole."

You keep repeating that if anyone is disputing that. But the fact is that he COULD have gotten it from gun shows. We need to close the loophole.

15 was used by the other poster. 200 was not by me or the other poster. So I do not see your point.

And I have never been to a gun show. I am guessing private sellers can show in some (states') gun show but I am willing to accept your point. I often refer to it as "private sale" and rarely mentioned "gun shows."
