How can I buy brother's house...owner financing? He still owes the bank..
I want to buy my brother's rental house. He owes $42k to the bank (about what the house is worth give or take 2k). His payments are $500/month. I want to move in and pay him the $500/month and when the house is paid for, have the title transferred into my name.
The thing is...I may only live there a few years and then I will want to rent it out myself. So..the renter owes me...I owe my brother and my brother owes the bank.
How should we set this up? Owner financing? Rent or lease to own? How do we get it legally written up that the title transfers to me when it's paid for?
