I just called (I know, I know). I was told as long as they are Going into separate accounts (we have 3 for 3 kids) that I could purchase one and purchase additional as gifts. I'm all over it. :-)

Add the child you want to give the money to. Under the child details add the 529 plan the child has. It will ask you for the state and account number of the 529. After you link it there is an option to transfer whatever money you have on the savegrad website to the 529 fund. Hit it. Clunky but it's almost free money. |

What is a beneficiary? A beneficiary is the person for whom you are opening the 529 plan account. It can be a child or an adult; you can even be your own beneficiary. more info here [529.com] .

Can someone confirm if GradSave works with VA529? I have upromise for pretty long time, but it doesn't connect with VA529.

nice going to open a second 529 for the baby coming in May, and buy two living social deals.
over a 100% return instantly, and 5% tax credit on $100 for 2013. unless there is some funky tax dealio with this special... |
