"Dear Gaming Community,
We announced Project Fiona at CES 2012 as a concept tablet/PC designed for gamers. You rallied and won us the CNET People’s Voice 2012 award. So naturally, we came to you to help develop the final product. You’ve inspired us with your passion, feedback and input. You’ve shaped what has finally become the Razer Edge.
Today your voice echoed across the globe. Not only did you win the People’s Voice 2013 award for PC Gamers everywhere, you inspired the editors of CNET to choose the Razer Edge for Best of Gaming 2013 and Best of Show 2013.

I got a BlackWidow Ultimate 2013. It was $90 with tax and shipping. Hope it's worth it.

Looks like the Razer BlackWidow 2013 is back in stock. It's still $50 with the coupon not including tax/shipping.

You can purchase the Mac version and re-map the function keys easily with Razer's software [dulfy.net].

Still, I think with tax and shipping it's only an okay deal.

Wish the Sabertooth would come back in stock, at least to take backorders.

Promo code no longer works. Stuff still OOS. At least they didn't restock everything too immediately after the promo ended.

Just a fair warning about Naga mice. They die with the slightest shock of static electricity. I lost 2 in the past month due to this.

My Naga has lasted 3 years flawlessly. I don't play under a rug though and never had static shock when using computer.

No need to be scared of synapse 2.0.

The required logging online, and creating an account to get the full features of their newer products is bullshit though. Their cloud service should be optional.

Nope, older models had those as well. I did research to see if there was a change since there wasn't in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 models and found the following about the 2013.

2010-12 Glossy finish, 2013 matte finish.
2010-12 6KRO, 2013 10KRO
2010-12 backlit with blue, 2013 backlit with green.
2013 build for Razer's cloud based Synapse 2.0 software.

So I was incorrect that it just says 2013 after it like the previous 2 years changes but the 2013 seem pretty minor although I do prefer matte finishes to glossy finishes.
Repped for thoroughness

The only Razer there that might be decent is the backlight Ultimate edition.....but having owned a razer, I would caution against people buying a razer.

I would instead suggest http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/

Keys are laser engraved so you won't get that weird darkening/fading thing like the Razers and you can customize colors.

Plus, while those Macro keys seem like a good idea, in use, they're not a good idea. They throw everything off balance. The keys are slim as well and positioned weird, so I miss type a lot. Its been almost a year, and I still haven't gotten used to the keyboard. I would recommend against it.
