Thread Details

$29.99 each month for 12 months, then $109.99 for months 13-24. New residential customer only. Digital Starter TV + Performance Internet + XFINITY Unlimited Voice Service. You have to get all 3 to get the deal. The deal ends 1/20/2013. It says "not available in all areas". I'm in CT. It doesn't hurt to call to ask though. Please see attachment for details. Good luck! Misleading...complicated ad...

Read closely in the yellow arrow on the left...

"$29.99 each a month for 12 months..." total is $89.97 for all 3, and you have to bundle to get the price that low.

TD not to the OP, but to Comcast and the typical deceptive advertising.

That is their typical offer for years.

Nothing against the OP, but I wouldn't go back to Comcast if they paid me Crazylaugh

Last month I signed up XFINITY Bundled Services for $39.95 includes TV and Internet. I didn't like the Channels (only 50 channels) and wanted to downgrade. They are charging me $75 for internet alone since original internet deal died last month. BTW, I have DishNetwork and am really satisfied with their service and programs - paying just $45 a month.

What should I do now? TIA

Better known as Comcrap. We live in the boonies and have no other choice but once a month we sent those thieves a lot of money for crappy programming and service.

Anyone have any comments on ATT U-verse? Just bought a house and my options are Comcast or U-verse. Thoughts?

I'd kill for Fios, but its never coming to Minnesota. I actually live in the suburbs, < 20 miles from the Metro but for some reason they cant manage to get some Fiber laid out here. Paying $80/mo for 12mb Comcast. No complaints other than the price.

Haha, You think Comcast is bad? AT&T Was the Inventor of Increased Billing. Video DSL, Upto 20 MB means 3 MB is Upto 20

I am 40 miles outside of DT Minneapolis near Forest Lake.

Didn't realize there was a different cable company here. Mid Continent or something like that. We love um. 30/10 net and extended cable with 2 movie packages, HD DVR is free for 2 years and it was 3 bucks a month for the DOCSIS 3.0 modem (we bought one) we pay with tax 78 bucks a month.

Uverse:

Pro: Speed was stable

Cons: Bill will never be the correct. I swear how can a company this big not be able to bill correctly? I have to call like every 3 months to get it corrected.

If your speed isn't what is supposed to be then make them run a dedicated line, I already ran my own so the tech didn't have to do it. Make sure your line is within the error limits, I kept on getting disconnect until i called and had the automated system run a test and found my errors was beyond the acceptable limits and the initial installer *cough supervisor override the account and had it set it to complete even though with that much error the system would have not allow regular tech to complete the order. In the end it was a faulty modem and they also gave me a backup power supply for my modem.

I did the same last week. I was having blast internet only and the price went to $75 and was forced to get the TV bundle for $50. I'm not at all interested in the TV service bit forced to get it just for the price.

I told them not to ship the TV receiver.

I plan to keep the bundle for 6 months @$50 and try to call them after that.

Another bait n switch deal?

Why did they not just state $69.99/mo for 2 years?

Heck, bait even harder. $0/month for the first 12 months, $140/month for months 13-24.
