To be fair though, I've taken architectural design for shits and giggles and my professor gave me a bundle (2 dozen) of those pencils for free..

lol. I didn't go to college but I tack on PhD after my name anyway. Is that disrespectful to anyone who's paid $100,000+ and went through years of schooling? If it is, I don't care. I'll continue to do it anyway.

thankfully I only ever had to write one in-class essay in college. whatever note-taking I don't do on my laptop or tablet (which is 99% of my notes), I use a pen--my absolute favorite are the uni-ball jetstream 7mm retractable rollerball pens (e.g. here [amazon.com]), because of how smoothly and effortlessly the ink comes out. they always order them at my p/t job, and I take a couple every once in a while .

I pretty much lost all penmanship after I graduated HS. I used to have such legible, precise handwriting, but after living off my laptop in college everything I write comes out as chickenscratch.

would this still be a good price for $8 ?
