the smart driver alone is worth it. don't worry about the nonreplacable battery, this thing goes months between charges without a problem for me even using it for a few screws every week.

the torque settings are really what make this thing so good - i can put it on super low torque and use it to put my son's toys together without being worried about stripping the plastic on the other side of the screw
