United Explorer credit card 55K $0 fee first year YMMV

Make sure you get the $50 credit. After you do the bckstgr.com miles you sign into united.com and do a flight search. on the page with flight search results the deal will include the $50 credit.

For bckstgr if you do this and its not showing the miles in your united account yet then use a different browser and it will appear. It seems to get stuck in cookies or cache for about 12 hours if you use the same browser but if you change browsers it can be as quick as a few minutes

I think they need to be fresh miles so do the bckstgr trick

I had the United MileagePlus card about 2 years ago as well as the Continental Card which started to show as a United card after the merger, they sent me a targeted offer for the United Explorer Card and I did receive the bonus miles.

fresh miles? one of the NRT-ORD flights was posted just last week.(January 10)
can't get any fresher than that! I have done the bcksgr deal previously, so
I guess I'll have to look into something else. I do have a ORD-NRT-SIN flight
coming up on the 29th...

I'm not sure what united calls fresh miles. I would think a recent flight should count. Did you try logging into united and doing a flight search to see if the 50k deals pops up for you? Maybe that will work instead of the link in OP

tenwinecans maybe you haven't done all the bckstgr stuff yet. In the USA section there is a chef you can like on facebook for 10 points that should do it

Yeah same. I just signed up using the original link without the $50 statement credit. Perhaps do a secure message with Chase and showing a copy of the $50 statement credit page?

Try calling. People seem to have success getting the bonus bumps and other extras when its still available. Just say you hit the wrong link and you wanted the $50 credit. Worth a try
