Deal Details

I just did this, so I thought I would share in hopes that it helps someone.

I know this is not a new offer. But if you go directly to chase or united web site, the offer is 30K, while this link gets you 55k.

I have a trip for my family of 4 from Chicago to Jacksonville in March. So at the very least I think this gets me to check a bag for free.

I had a united card years ago from Chase. This is a united explorer. Usually Chase doesn't allow you to get the same offer twice. So it will be interesting to see if I get the bonus points (YMMV).

https://www.united.com/web/en-US/...thatsaplus

I got immediate acceptance.

Not approved instantly. Which number to call for processing the application? It usually happens to me. I just closed united card about a month back

You need to be a premier member to get 50k points. I always get this offer for being a 1k member. So its nothing new.

link to United 50k miles and $50 statement credit (you need to sign into your mileage plus account with some miles in it, see hint)

https://www.theexplorercard.com/M...AFWIC.aspx

Hint: To get some miles into your account (if you don't have any), go to bckstgr dot com and sign up -> they will throw in 100 miles and off you go for this offer! Click on this link after you see some miles in your account (usually within 24 hours). Hope this helps someone.

You might have to link a social account to get some bonus miles. I received nothing for signing up, but got 200 miles for linking a twitter account.

Hm... I already have 2 United cards at Chase. What are the chances I will qualify for the bonus?

THANK YOU!

I've been trying to get the 50k offer forever but could never get it to show up despite being logged in and have 2k miles

I guess it needs to have some recent activity
I signed up with bckstgr, got 200 miles thrown in instantly and then the 50k offer with the $50 credit popped up

instant approval!

woot!

time to start trip planning

Thanks for this. I signed up with bckstgr. I see 200 award points after I linked my FB. I don't see anything on my UA accout though. Does it post automatically after 24 or should I redeem or transfer them to UA?

If you previously have other versions of the United card (not the united explorer) would you still be eligible for the 50K miles? TIA
