Note: The height of this drive is 9.91mm. Some systems only accept drives that are 9.5mm and thinner (without a little modification).
Nice deal, but but check to see if it will fit in your machine before you pull the trigger. Mac mini, etc. |

really tempted but I know nothing about how to replace these on a laptop. is it easy to transfer over an entire HD?

I've had this drive since August. My i7-3770k system with this drive takes 9 seconds to boot to Win7 desktop from pressing the power button. SSD Toolkit still reports 100% drive health. I use power save modes without any issues. For me it's been a fantastic sata 3 drive.
I'm an outdoor adventurer, science geek, classical guitarist, programmer, photographer, audiophile, and car nut, so I try to help the SD community by posting useful information in those areas.

My Intel x25m g2 is starting to go. Failing SMART. Still under warranty but want something to replace it and use that as a spare elsewhere. Thanks |

I got excited and bought it without checking the warranty, but it's 3 years which I think is reasonable.
This will be replacing a 120gb vertex 2 that I've had for 2-3 years, should be a nice upgrade since I've been starved for space. Last edited by artondrius; 01-14-2013 at 09:12 AM.. |
