Swooped on Sam's Club price error a few months ago for BIG Jambox for $165 and absolutely love it. $219 is a good price. Thumbs up.

Not to TC (I thumbed up you), but I was recently on a deep sea fishing trip and brought my jambox small and iPhone along to provide some music for the group; at 6am in the marina when we weren't moving everyone was impressed by the jambox and ease of pairing and sound quality. then when we got out to sea humming along in a twin engine boat, the jambox was barely audible even at high volume. someone else had a JBL Flip paired to their ipod, they turned it on and the sound was much louder, you could hear the sound if the speaker was pointed away from you and you were 10 feet away on the front of the boat with a large glass window in between and waves crashing about, this is anecdotal, and there aren't any slick deals on the JBL flip right now, its just its normal price of $99 on amazon. I prefer the design of the jambox, it has a great battery, and good iOS integration. This was the first time I had taken it to a loud ish environment and it was outshined by other products. Also, at the pool the Jambox did a great job of providing music to 2-4 people sitting around without blasting the entire pool area, like someone did with their Bose speaker.

TL-DR: The jawbone is a good speaker, I got shown up by a louder (and cheaper) JBL Flip on a fishing trip.

Eh, I dont know if I want to pull on this. Jam box is crap... there are better ones out there for $70-99 liek the JBL flip is x2 better.

I'm debating on the Big Jambox..... dont know if its worth $186....

The Logitech Bluetooth 4 speaker boom box is much louder and better. Bigger size but better sound. On sale frequently for about 100. Better off with that one
