This looks like a great deal but wondering if any of you have seen a hedge trimmer That you can angle? I always need to trim the tops of huge hedges in my yard but I have to get on a ladder to do it so I can do a straight across cut. I figure if I can get a hedger that I can lock in a 90 degree angle,to pivot it,I can stay on the ground and get a straight cut across.

Anyone ever see something like this??? Smilie

I just received the blower/sweeper re-furb deal from a couple of weeks ago...same shipper/seller. Mistake or not, it included TWO batteries. Haven't tested them yet, since I have a half-dozen batts in rotation. I'll get these ready for spring(which I hope starts Valentine's Day...as usual around here! Cool

Battery lasts a long time, cuts extremely smooth. I have used a lot of different brands and this is my favorite model. It is light and solidly built. A winner all day at that price

The Sears thing came with two batteries for reasons I cannot understand (1 with the unit and one with the charger). Don't have any issues with battery life, but I only use it to trim two big hedges around my house.

As long as you're not trying to cut seriously woody shrubs, you'll like the cordless just fine. I had the B&D corded Hedge Hog and it took a split second to stop after releasing the trigger. I was doing a one-handed reach to get a faraway branch and let the trimmer swing back after I let go of the trigger...sure enough, it grabbed the cord and took a slice out. I was able to patch it, but boy, did I look silly! Embarrassment
