Pulled the trigger. Free 2 day with Shop Runner is nice too. Replacing a 60GB Crucial M4.

This is the best price so far. Yes, it will be much cheaper later. Yes, it will be replaced by something better. Thus goes the world of tech. In for 1.

Yup.. it is the lowest we've seen. I also believe it can go lower, but just don't know when. I'm guessing when other manufacturers release newer models, it'll be cheaper. But right now, it looks like 840 pro is the king of SSDs. I'll buy this when it goes below $200, or when there's a drastic drop in price.

Haha, so it was written... on slickdeals you will be screwed when you think a "deal" is a deal but then you find out there's an even better deal the next day. I feel sorry for the people who bought it for $230 yesterday at BHphotovideo and for $220 at macmall yesterday. I was able to cancel my macmall order this morning to get it for $215 today. Thanks OP! I just hope it isn't $210 tomorrow. Grrrrr!

Am I missing something with all these 840 PRO posts? Performance benchmarks show it as a negligible improvement over the preceding 830. Why is it worth the $70 more when there will be no noticeable real world difference?
