Bought this in the past. Didn't work for a palo verde tree baby branch sprouts ( < 1 cm dia.). The twig would bend and not cut. Returned them. The anvil one on sale at Sears now and then is MUCH better for that type of tree at least.

Maybe better for plants with drier branches like rose bushes and such.
