Got a similar setup for $608 from the outlet the other day but not full hd, and 64gb ssd... 3 days later, they cancelled it saying they couldn't process my card that I've had no problems with anywhere else ever... so mad
For $929 out the door it better be at least 17" screen size. Crazy stuff.
IMO, 17" laptops are on the cusp of being too heavy for any portability. I kinda like the idea of the 15.6" screen since it can still serve as a desktop replacement while being portable when you need it.
That brings me to my next question. How heavy is this Lenovo laptop? I'd guessing that it's around 6lb.
Just FYI I bought this and after doing windows updates the bluetooth stopped working. Worked fine before the windows updates. Called Lenovo yesterday and sent it back, they also wouldn't offer a replacement. Touchpad is pretty awful. Also wasn't as fast as I thought it would be. I'm glad I'm getting my money back and will wait for something better.
With the current setup, the 16GB mSATA is used as a cache so that would speed it up a little. However, you can replace that mSATA with a larger capacity and install windows on that if you want to speed up the machine. You can then use the HD as a storage drive.
