Pantech has really impressed us...
I just got a few Pantech Burst cell phones for myself and friends (after hearing about them from another alert SD user)--we feel they are an incredible value and love them (only con is bad battery life, which we can deal with).Two things of note for this OP:

Subtotal $208.95 Discount (A4C20) -$41.79 Seems like a good deal. not sure if I should wait for more post holiday sale on refurbished Tablets? I don't really need the 4G LTE for now. But if I want to pay the $40 monthly fee, it's nice to have that LTE module inside the tablet. |

Love that this is waterproof. Could be cool to have in the kitchen for recipes, streaming stuff, music, etc., while cooking.

Other than the crappy screen, this things got pretty good specs for $170 refurb. 8" if my favorite size and the impressively sized battery really provide extended use time.
My only concern would be the quality of refurb you receive from all4cellular.com. Does anyone have any experience with this website vendor in terms of refurbs? Also I can't find any info on the warranty for refurbs. I would feel much better about this if it was coming out of cowboom.com BTW, the price for the refurb unit just went upto $215 before coupon. This has a 4x3 screen like the ipad, not like most android tabs with the 16x9 or whatever widescreen they use. Thats a huge + for me

PS - for a little bit more, you could get a refurbed 32GB Asus TF201 for $256:
http://www.all4cellula It's got a very nice screen (SuperScreen IPS) and a Tegra 3 CPU and there's plenty of community created ROMs (JBs, CWMs, CM10s).
