also worth noting while they advertise this for ps3 it does not work; there is a statement saying there will be a new application to play games on ps3, here's the thing....the applicaiton costs 10 dollars which I reluctantly paid for as I figured I'd be doing most watching on PC, so I spend the 10 and the app doesn't work!!! Jittery audio and video. Mostly did not work. Connection was a non issue as I have high speed and any wireless computer ran it swimmingly.
I contacted ps3 support and nhl support....both BLAME EACHOTHER for the problem. Waste of ten dollars; they sure as hell better not charge for the new app.....if they ever get it done.

anyone who had it last year...did u already get charged for renewal?

Just double checked my credit card, they refunded 4.99 to my card. Although it should be automatic, it only took one support request.

This only seems like a mediocre deal if you move out of your home town and can't watch your favorite team anymore.

Are you talking about the 2013 app? I know that it cost $10 in 2011, but last year the app was 100% free.

I personally am disappointed with Game Center due to the lack of HD content. from what I've seen all games show in standard def, Sports is meant to be seen in HD.

get the online version and then you can watch your ipad, iphone or connected device like panasonic tv/bluray, apple tv, etc.. the picture is hd for every game and you can move to any house.

I had gamecenter live streaming on my galaxy tab, galaxy s2, laptop, and xbox 360 the first time I used it, when I was trying to figure out where I wanted to watch my game. I had no issues using multiple devices so I wouldn't be surprised if sharing is possible. Although, I was streaming the same game on all devices. Hope this helps!

Must be your speed.. we watch games on gamecenter in HD all the time.. its NHL Center Ice on Dish / Direct and Cable which has all SD feeds.. if you have a fast enough connection the game center rocks..

As for the multiple devices in home, this weekend I had one game on the xbox, one of the ipad, one of the lappy and one of the desktop.. so it is possible.. my fifth device is at work where i watch the consolidated games

my friend's package looks terrible on his xbox, and he has Fios.

So I can't watch my local team if I pay for this? What's the point?
