Normally $20/mo.

4 or 5 months for $50? Killer deal.

If you want to just watch one out of market team check their schedule first, every game on NHLN on NBCSN is blacked out. NBC as well but you can get those for free OTA. For the Rangers that's 6 out of the first 7 and 20 total - over 40% - blacked out. By comparison, Columbus has 3 games all season on one of the networks.

It's just over 3 months. Postseason not included.

"Generally, if a game is available for you to view on television in your local viewing area, then it will not be available to watch live in NHL GameCenter LIVE"

Can't watch your local team. That is so wack.

yeah, it gets to be a bummer if you're in the vicinity of multiple teams because you really only get one of them on your cable, but you still get the other teams blacked out

that being said, the $50 is tempting. I think the full season was $129 or something last year

Nationally televised games on CBC, NBC, NBC Sports Network, NHL Network, RDS and TSN are also subject to blackouts in NHL GameCenter LIVETM as well. In the United States and Canada all playoff games will be nationally televised.

Not giving the NHL a dime this year.

I'll watch games on my local networks, follow stats online, but I'll be damned if they see even a penny from my pocket for all this bullshit.

Great deal, but don't buy this. Should be free.

Appreciate the negative score from all the people pissed off at the NHL. Rate the deal, not your hate for the league. For those of us who refuse to pay for cable or satellite, this is a great deal. Even if your team has half of their games nationally televised, it's still less than $2 per game. If your team sucks and can't draw a national audience, even better!! I will pay that any day rather than watching a crappy internet feed of it.

Thanks to the OP for posting this. I was curious with the shortened season if they'd offer a deal. I signed up so I can watch the Red Wings and the Blues down south. Smilie For $50, that's hard to beat.

FYI, to anyone who uses a PS3, the new GameCenter app is not available yet. When I had trouble accessing my GameCenter account from the PS3 app, I contacted support and they told me the 2013 app would be available in time for the weekend. They weren't sure if the Xbox app had been updated yet, either.

Anyone complaining about blackouts...it's very easy to circumvent with this little thing called a proxy. Enable it to show you're in a different city and then enjoy any game you like.
