Thanks. I tried to get this on black Friday, but they sold out right away at my store. This will make our 10-12 hour vacation drives much easier on the kids.

I needed one of these when we had no power. I wish they ran on batteries though.

I'd get one of these except for the lack of a battery. Having to reset your movie to the beginning every time you stop the car is not acceptable. Some battery-less units claim that they remember the last position when they lose power and automatically resume... I'd get this one if that feature were mentioned anywhere, but it's not.

So everything else about the unit (good price, decent screens) doesn't matter if they just reset on a power loss.

It lists the battery type as Lithium Ion...

Use these on a 4.5 hr drive, which is time for the kids to watch two complete movies, so shutting off in the middle isn't a concern in our case.

Too bad they didn't have these when travelling with my parents as a kid. Would have saved a lot of slobber on the back of the front seat while asking the perpetual question; Are we there yet???

I am here to write a review, which I don't normally do, because other people don't know how to use the mounting pad included with this product. So many reviews, so many people who should read the instructions!!! YOU CAN MOUNT THIS AND CHANGE THE DVD WITHOUT REMOVING ENTIRE UNIT! You have two choices to mount this. You can use the straps the wrap around the whole unit (this would block the ability to change out DVDs#. OR you can use the side velcro straps and secure the unit to the pad #this allows you to change the DVDs).
