In for one. I needed a cheap TV for the bedroom and this fit the bill perfectly.

IF...there were anything ever made in 3D other than Avatar, Tangled, and that one iMax film that were any good, I'd consider it.
Watch the Hobbit, and then realize there are still two more to come...

This is a great TV, I had it for a month now. I bough it when it was on sale the same price at walmart like a month ago. I have been using this as a computer monitor. It is great for computer or tv use. This TV has H Sharpness & V Sharpness setting, which you can adjust to give clear font to use as a computer monitor.

Just got the LG 47LM4600 47" LED 3d for $550 at frys last week, so far love the thing, looks great, have actually really enjoyed the 3d too.

No audio outputs. Doesnot play movies on USB flash drives!
That kills it for me, the 40in Element i got at Target for $270 has Digital & Stereo out, and they output on both signals all the time, so I can connect my surround sound for company and wireless headphones when company is sleeping.

I would love to return that and get a brand name tv, but why add features like 3D and drop necessary features, like audio out?

yes, this has been going on for a while now Embarrassment

I bought this TV yesterday. Smilie Haven't set it up yet, but I got it for a bedroom, and I'm not too worried about the lack of features. I was primarily interested in the 3D feature, and the price was extremely reasonable for a 3D TV, regardless of the brand. (My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the 3D experience on our main TV. It was better than we had expected. And there's always regular 2D if you don't like the 3D efffect. I've started to acquire 3D versions whenever possible, so I thought it'd be nice to have one in the bedroom.)

Yes, this deal has been going off and on for a couple/few weeks now. They listed it differently over that period, and they only revealed the actual price on one of their limited duration sale ads. (I can't recall if it was a 1 day or a 2 day sale.) I was surprised to see them run the exact same ad two weeks in a row. I check the Fry's ads daily, and they almost never do that.

But I realized last week they were likely to do something with these TVs when I had them check stock last Thursday (the day before their weekly sale prices expire), and they showed all of the other 6 local stores--except the one I went to which was sold out; go figure--had 50-90 of these in stock. When I got the supervisor to issue a raincheck, he mentioned they were expecting a large shipment at the store I visited in two days. When I see stock like that, I know something's up. And sure enough, they ran the exact same ad last week. I didn't even need the raincheck. Oh, well...

However, when I actually got around to picking up the TV a week later (yesterday, Thursday), there was a big notice to the sales staff in their quote system saying to let customers know that yesterday would definitely be the last day this would be on sale. That's the first time I've ever seen that particular note, so I'm curious as to what Fry's plans for their overstock of this TV is. I imagine the note was just to be sure customers who were interested would pull the trigger yesterday and not expect it to be on sale this week, which it's not--at least as the Friday ad shows.

They still have huge stock levels of both this model and the larger (55") version of this TV. I imagine it'll go back on sale at some point in the near future. I wonder if it'll be even cheaper soon. Confused

I bet it will be cheaper. Frys usually does this in put the TV in the ad and any overstock hang onto for another month to really blow them out. (I bet late February, early March you see these at $350-$375).

3D Tv viewing is not advisable for elders and unstable health, and those who have complex eye number. I have this bad experience not getting used after removing 3D glasses Dont bargain health
