Samsung UN60EH6000 60" Class 1080p 120Hz LED TV $899 F/S & B&M Frys

60" vs 50" is a VERY big difference. I would go bigger. But you bought a Plasma so you're shifting gears completely. I would always go 60" or bigger. It's probably at least 30% larger in total area.

yeah the size alone would be impressive but i think the picture quality of this plasma is pretty damn good. it doesn't look like any frys close have it in stock so i think i'm stuck with the plasma for now. appreciate the info.

How does this compare to the 60 inch LG 1080P plasma (60PA6500) that was $699 at Frys last week? Its a secondary tv for a theater room.

smachine, the LG seems to be 800-1000 everywhere, this Samsung LED was $1299 everywhere last Saturday and just dipped to $1099 at Sears & Best Buy. No idea where the $899 came from but it's slick as heck. I have the 55" version I got from Wal-mart for $950 but obviously it's going back. Bigger the better.

Well, this isnt smart TV right?
Should i get this or the Panasonic 55" from amazon which is not only Plasma but with tons of other features and build in wifi.

Yea I saw price wise this is a bigger discount, but in terms of quality just for movies can this beat a new plasma? Room is going to be dark, and its a spare tv that will be used mainly for movies and sports and occasional gaming. Main tv is in bright room and will probably be a 70 inch Sharp. Only willing to shell out the extra $200 if this is night and day different in terms of picture quality

Amazon is quoting me 949 plus tax, they say the extra 50$ is for white glove delivery. Is there a way I can refuse that and just pay 899 plus tax? I am in CA.

Awesome deal. Totally price-matched with amazon and paid the extra $50 for white-glove delivery (had $50 gift card, felt it was worth using). I have a sedan anyways and don't want to mess with picking up/ cramming in my nice car/ etc etc. Amazon was great and rep points for finding a TV deal I didn't have to think twice about.

I own a LG, Panasonic, and a Samsung TV and i can tell you that in the last 30 days i have seen so many Panny and LG sales on Plasmas as well as LCD (LEDs) here on SD, but Samsung deals dont come often and is the reason that this is such a hot deal. LG and Panny deals come dime a dozen.

Paying $50 for white gloves delivery is totally worth it unless you're off today, with a pickup truck ....they deliver the TV, take it out of the box, connect it to the stand if not wall mounting the TV, hook it it up to all your other audio/video crap, then remove the boxing material unless you opt to keep it just in case you decide to move the TV.

Don't use gift cards if you can avoid it and are paying with a credit card. Most cards give you an extra year warranty, but you must pay for the purchase in full with your card, at least if you want to correctly meet their requirements. (In practice, they might not notice the $50 GC, but life is easier when you do things legit.)

Frys has no return policy on tvs 24" or larger? Only defective replacement
