HDMI ports do this occasionally and usually replacing the cable fixes the issue. I know yours is DVI but try another DVI cable anyway.

The problem mostly only happens when I play games (which is pretty rare) and I can suffer for those 5 seconds every couple days or weeks and maybe get a new crazy touchscreen desktop after having my current system for around 2 years (Xmas 2013 present for me?   ) rather than waiting 3 years like I usually do..Only thing is can you fit a decent video card into those touchscreen systems?
