The problem is that if it's going to be cumbersome for me to sideload books via the Calibre homenetwork/share thing that I just recently discovered, she won't have any content to consume. And if I recall correctly, you can't even install Google Play on a Kindle device, right? That will limit her (free) apps, as well.

Got an email today saying my Kindle Fire HD is on its way via UPS. I met all criteria (DD + 3 BP) about a month back, but I think they want the account to be active at least 60 days AND criteria met within 60 days (dont quote me on this) before they send bonus gift.

I too got an email with the subject, "Your Kindle Fire is on its way!" However, the email merely states that I have qualified for the Kindle after meeting the requirements (DD + 3 BP). I met all those requirements a week and a half ago. In the email, it states that the Kindle would be shipped via UPS in about 6-8 weeks. So you must keep the account active until the Kindle is actually shipped to your doorsteps.

Those of you who received the qualification e-mails, what did you use for direct deposit? I opened my account on 2/12 and completed DD + 3BP on 3/1 but I am yet to hear from them. The retard who opened my account at the branch entered a foreign country under my US address which I had removed a couple weeks ago (after the mail made its way to me and I noticed the error), not sure if that might have affected me as I might have looked as a non-US resident in the system when I qualified. I might have to call them although I hate to interfere.

I used my employer for direct deposit. I opened my account online on 2/15, completed DD + 3BP on 3/8 and received qualification email on 3/20.

I received this email on March 20, 2013. I thought this means its really on its way and I would be using a brand new Kindle Fire by the weekend. After 4 days I called them to find out and realized it would be 8 weeks to 90 days (Max) after the requirements have been completed. For me Account was opened in January, Requirements were met on 02/10/2013 and will probably receive Kindle Fire HD by May possibly.

I got the "your kindle fire is on its way" mail from BBVA on Feb 28th ( the day my first direct deposit went in).

Today I got an email from UPS quantum view saying that something has been shipped to me by 2 day air and it requires signature on delivery. It says that the item is from AMA systems in Maryland

I thinks its the kindle because I am not expecting anything else from UPS that will require signature and AMA systems in Maryland is and "incentive fulfillment" company.

Got mine too.. they shipped it from a company called AMA SYSTEMS from Maryland. This company opened the Kindle box, marked it up with BBVA logo on the back and sent it via UPS 2nd day.

Came with a zippered case as well.

Package arrived 3-29-13. I completed the requirements in early Feb. by sending 3 $50 "bill pays" (just checks to friends who cashed them and gave me the money) and direct deposit posting on 2-15-13.

Any info on how easy it is to remove the BBVA logo?
