Seriously...I've got more than I'll ever use in my life, even after donating to my daughter's daycare (also have given them tons of paper, batteries, AV software, etc). Sometimes after I check out I just want to leave the bag at the counter and walk out with only my receipt. Other times I've thought about "recycling" - bring it back to the store and let them ring up the same packs again.

Love the photo's...and darn...I those clear plastic totes. I can't believe your wife is making you get rid of them. Those plastic totes are looking fantastic in my stockroom. Since my built-in shelves are already full, they make a nice addition.

Fortunately, my husband is as derangedly cheap as I am, so he only encourages my hoarding stockpiling. I thought I was going to be in the dog-house after I sold off 4 cases of the free paper I got last year via Staples. I had to assure him there was more to come.

I'm gonna "recycle" tomorrow.. My friendly store is out of the photo paper..

So i'm gonna smuggle some in and rebuy it.. Reverse shoplifting.


In my experience, everyone loves paper..that's easy to find a home for. I've even given paper, to other people who were in line at staples.. after I bought it. This old guy kept asking the clerk what the cheapest paper was... so I said, this is the cheapest paper.. and handed him a ream (after I paid for it)

Had 2 giant staples delivery boxes of pens/markers/staplers/highlighters/etc from rolling too many OM rewards... donated all that to a church.

Ok, now I'll actually stop chattering and try to add something useful...

So here's my thought about what I'll do this week at Staples:

(2) Staples photo paper $14.99 ea = $29.98
(3) Scotch Brite sponge pkgs $2.99 ea = $8.97
Random items that add up to $1.50 = $1.50

Subtotal = $40.45

Less $10/$40 OM q (Thank you, OM, you are my new best friend this January)

OOP = $30.45 (I'll be paying with GC but you can use GC/DC/CC/cash/Rewards etc.)

Submit for SER for the photo paper for $29.98

Final cost of .47, for sponges, which I need.

I gave 12 cases of paper to a non profit (woman's home) and 6 cases to our church & daycare and they loved it.

Thought I would share an interesting (and unique?) situation I find myself in.

I created a new Rewards account for work towards the end of Dec and bought a few things for the office since then. Earlier today I received one of those "rate your purchase" emails with 3 items listed. First one was something I bought on this account online, but the other 2 items were things I bought in-store on my personal account, even before I created my work account.

Wondering if this is an indication that these two accounts are about to get merged? Mailing/email/phone are all different, but used the same name and CC as my personal account. I've used my CC on my wife's account many times both online and in-store without issue, so I'm probably just being paranoid (I hope)

So, which Laptop is best???

I actually use photo paper often and don't mind having photo paper around. 4 canon pixma pro9000 printers help me burn through that paper quick. 4x6 paper is useless though.
