Just want to do a "Big Brother" post warning those of you who are not used to using Kettlebells not to exceed a comfortable weight for doing toning exercises such as the "Kettlebell Swing" mentioned in the 4-Hour Body. Exceeding a comfortable weight is a great way to seriously hurt your low back. (Source: having done it, having talked to the doctor, who says this is a very common cause of injury.)

Nah, I'm a 120 lb female and swing it with no problem. Not like I am doing TGU or snatches with it. A man should be able to swing it...

I JUST got a Dragon Door bell off of CL this size, so tempting despite that.
wow your super strong. im just an average person getting into workingout

A 50 pounder? I wonder if they come in a match set . . . one for each hand.

If its all about technique, whats the point of this?

it says about technique, not all about technique

OOS...and thank god. I was about to order two I really didn't need. I already have a full set of grey generic ones I purchased locally over 5 years ago still in my garage. They're very functional "wide handled" bells, however, they are NOT very pretty. I was attracted to the shiny black smooth appearance of the Amazon offering as well as the price. Glad I didn't pull the trigger and waste over sixty bucks...but they sure looked nice. lol

Thanks OP, haven't seen any prices under $1 per pound. This is an awesome deal for a 50lbs KB. Wish the 70lbs was the same price per pound.

A lot of the CAP kettlebells I've seen have a casting seam running along the underside of the handle. Anyone had luck sanding that down and repainting it? I've found anything but a very smooth handle to really tear up my hands quick.

The ingredient list isn't an issue unless you're planning to eat it.
Depending on the ingredients, some are absorbed through your skin...vomit
