Samsung HW-E450 Soundbar - 139.99 *Refurbished*

Ahhh screw it in for one. I've been looking at these for awhile now and haven't found much I like in this price range. Hopefully this is one is ok.

I bought this soundbar in september for $149.99 refurb from tigerdirect. It came in refurb box, but seemed new with no scratches. However, soundbar and wires were covered in loose plastic bags which suggested that the factory packaging had been opened before.

This sound bar will really fill up good 300-400 sq ft room. However, if you have high ceilings or a open hall, effects of this soundbar are not noticeable. It has no settings on the subwoofer. You can increase bass, but there are no settings for treble. There are 6 presets (Music, Cinema, Drama, Game, Sports, Off) and a button for 3D sound off/standard/high (whatever 3D sound means). It has bluetooth which is a big advantage as I can stream news podcasts with my morning coffee.

The only thing I hate about this bar is that it doesn't remember preset or 3D settings across power cycles. Also, if you have non-samsung TV, you have to manually power off the sound bar even when using HDMI cable with ARC enabled.

Otherwise it is a decent buy for $140

Actually when hooked up via digital optical cable it will shut off after 15 minutes. Just not right away.

What's the return policy on these? I couldn't find any info on the website.

received this soundbar system this morning. quick and easy set up. look like new and sounds awesome.
