Anyone in the sf bay area want this? I don't really have the room for setting this up. Cost me almost $80 including tax and shipping, wil sell for $80. Still in the box untouched. You would have to pick it up yourself, in the Walnut Creek area. PM me if interested thanks!

assembly was definitely a pain (2.5 hrs) but i wasn't missing any parts and am very pleased with the finished result. Solid hits to a 70lb bag can definitely move the frame (low friction coefficient), but I'm confident that the thing isn't in danger of collapsing or falling over (build quality seems sturdy enough, no obvious weak points). I'm going to buy an anchor for the bag and throw some weights on the pegs; will report back. Overall impressions: For $69, simply can't be beat. The dip bars and pushup bars are great too. I have an iron gym pullup bar that I prefer over the built-in one on the stand, because it has foam padding and allows for more grip positions, but these are plenty capable too. Assembled! it's definitely tall, and remember that you're going to need an extra foot just so your head doesn't smack the ceiling when you're pulling yourself up over those top bars. I'd say an 8 ft ceiling is the minimum you'd want with this stand. Last edited by pclstyle; 01-29-2013 at 03:22 PM.. |

SERIOUSLY?!?! 2.5 HOURS?!?! took me at least 5 hours because i need to use the #25 bolt instead of #24... i took the risk and assemble it my way and everything came out good... the most annoying part to me was the "A shape wishbone looking part connecting to the base.. kinda hard to explain.. you end up needing to loosen up all the bolts for the entire base so it can wiggle a bit to fit everything together perfectly, and a can of WD40 make things a whole lot easier... ![]() after everything is assemble... no one would believe how it would take you so long to assemble something look so simple... tools are important, i use 2 wrench and a torque wrench tighten everything to 100lbs I got a dig bick,.....
you that read wrong. that awkward when you read that wrong too. And said "moment" after awkward. this is awkward.. |
