Noticed this:

There is a $1/2 Nabisco products from the 1/6 SS (the one that says Healthy Essentials) with a size that starts at 3.7 oz. So if you want cookies, another way to put the Culturelle q to use:

- $2 Culturelle q
- $10 RR
= .94 and recover $10 RR

Is the price on the Reach items after the in-ad IVC?

There are still $1/2 IPs out there and the 1/6 SS inserts had quite a few $1/2s for Reach products. Could make the floss more of a filler-type item if the Q doesn't "count" for 2 spots.

I am wondering if the coupon in the wags Digestive Health actually will ring up for $2. I used it and was pleasantly surprised that it rang in at $2 instead of $1. I only have 4 qs from the packages so I was scouting these coupons and noticed they may give more off if you are running scenarios it would change it up.

I think the coupon from the booklet coded with $2 instead of $1.

Remember to warn your cashier that the co is miscoded or their drawer will be short. Especially when you're doing multiple transactions, those dollars could potentially get someone in BIG trouble!

I've been told they no longer count the coupons since they got the new registers at my store. They weren't sure if it was only them or all stores were like that.

They count the value of the coupon against the total amount used. It's part of the drawer count down, which is either done after the drawer is pulled or the next day, it's a quick sort, put all the like value co's in a pile, count them and add that total to the next pile, compair the final number with the total on the z, if they match, it's all good, if not, recount and dig through the bottom of the empty drawer and hope they find it. They have to account for everything at some point. I might be sharing too much information, but I'd rather we be over informed than someone potentially lose their job over a shortage.

The coupons go to coupon clearing centers or somewhere like that. I remembered that i read somewhere like: the coupon clearing centers now use computers instead of manually counting and sorting coupons. So the computer would read the barcode not the words and numbers, right?

I thought that was the old days. Do they still counting coupons at store now?

i thought this was always how it was done. AM tells me they get a discrepancy report at the end of the month now. what happens when they don't match, i don't know. but i will see him tonight. we work together doing taxes.

Yes, the co's go to a clearing house where they are scanned, big machines. But at the store level they still add them up manually, which is why when they alter the amount on the co they have to mark through the barcode or it's potentially fraud on their part (which is why WM gives full value of the co, but I'm not going there in this lesson! GRINS). They still add them up, just like cash (and they'd be silly not to, they are a form of payment as we all know).

Could be my local stores are still in the 20th century, but they want to be SURE they get their $$ and not a discrepancy report that could cost them lost revenue. I know there was a problem with a cashier (who no longer works there), who's drawer was always short co's, which could be why they are still doing it this way. But when coz is pulling her drawer, she always puts like amounts togeather as the report is printing to make it easier on the manager who has to count it.

Just confirming the Q is definitely coded for $2. This will surely cause headache and drama. Probably ought to move further discussion of this to chat.
