- For user who wanted to test out Microsoft Office 2013 for 60 Days to see if they like it.
After reading the other thread wiki you can just download it without jumping into the hoop of signing up:
"Here is official direct download links for MS Office 2013 Pro+
These are 60-day versions, but will activate with the keys obtained through the Home Use Program
Yes, I knew my print screen has a product key but it is just a 60-Day trial key. Feel free to use it as I would noy be using it.
After I purchased my HUP Microsoft Office 2013 Plus for $10 I was too cheap to buy the backup DVD disc for $13. I thought I can extract the ISO or zip temp file from Microsoft download but it was a "Click-to-Run" application that were built not to have a standalone installation setup file.
Getting the ISO from untrusted website can have virus and Trojan. After some testing with the click-to-run file by searching in the Windows temp folder was useless. A little Google search get me to this website: http://news.cnet.com/8301-10805_3...fice-2013/
That stated you can get a 60-day trial for the Microsoft Office 2013 Plus as quoted below:
“People who want to take Office 2013 for a spin can download a 60-day evaluation edition.
The version available is the full Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 suite, which includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Publisher, and Lync. The software contains all the features in the paid edition, so you won't miss out on anything.”
How To Get It (Quote from website):
“Here's how you can grab the free trial version:
Head over to the Office Professional Plus 2013 download page on TechNet. Click on the Get Started Now button. Log in with your Microsoft account. Fill in the online form with your name, e-mail address, and other details, if it's not already filled in. Make sure to choose either the 64-bit or 32-bit version of Office. Click Continue.
Another online form pops up asking for more information. Again, click Continue. The next page displays the product key, which you'll want to write down or save. Choose your language and click the Download button. Office is downloaded as a 785MB file.
The software comes in the form of an IMG file, which means you can burn it onto a disc to install it.”
I have attached some picture to help how to download it.
Please let me know if you help you save $13 or if you are getting it to test it. Thanks!
I am waiting for the ISOs to finish to test if it work with my HUP product key. I will post the new later. I would assume this will work thou.
Update: Confirmed working. After installation just open one Office 2013 and click on the left link to input your product key to activate it.
"Office 2013 now free to new buyers of Office 2010 and 2011
Buy Office 2010 or 2011 now, and you'll get a free copy of Office 2013 later.
Unveiled on Friday, Microsoft's Office Pre-Launch Offer is good for anyone who buys the current version of Office between October 19, 2012, and April 30, 2013. That includes Windows users who purchase Office 2010 and Mac users who pick up Office 2011.
The steps are relatively simple. After you install and activate Office, just pop an e-mail to Microsoft to receive a reminder. Microsoft will alert you once Office 2013 is available, giving you the ability to download and install it for free.
A variety of Office suites qualify for the freebie, including Office Home and Student 2010, Office Professional 2010, and Office for Mac Home & Student 2011. Individual 2010 applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, also qualify. Buyers can find the full list of eligible titles under the Qualifying Office Products section on the Microsoft Office Pre-Launch Offer Details and Terms page.
Depending on your current version, you can then grab a free copy of Office 365 Home Premium, Office Home and Student 2013, Office Professional 2013, or another variation.
You have until May 31, 2013, to redeem your offer. Microsoft hasn't spilled an official launch date for Office 2013, but the new version is expected to debut early next year."
