i just read an article that said adjusted for inflation real earnings have been going down since 2002....a decade!

What does that have ANYTHING to do inflation? First off all, in order for a store to tack on the surcharge, that store can not accept AMEX. Of all the stores I know, only Runza does not accept AMEX.

Secondly, ANY chain with stores in California and 10 or so other states are not allowed to tack on a surcharge since those states BANNED surcharges. So since walmart has a store in California, they are not allowed to tack on a surcharge in ANY OTHER STATE.


Lastly, most stores WILL NOT want to tack on the surcharge, it will drive away consumers and give them a negative image over a few dollars!

I am saying to fight inflation. I have been saying this in all my threads.

You fight inflation by not depending on the government handouts, and by using your own sweat to grow your own crops, generate your own electricity, generate your own heat, and by building your own house and houses, that you can rent out and receive/barter for non taxed cash in hand.
