Skyrocketing Inflation on Everything

Thread Details

I was noticing how everything has been going up dramatically in price over the last few years, and these increases are doubling even now!

In the last few months, businesses have:

1) Utilities have increased all their "Customer Surchage fees" by $2. This includes Comcast.
2) Price of all meats has nearly doubled.
3) Gasoline of course has been steadily rising. 12 years ago it was around $1/gallon. I just watched an episode of LOST on Netflix with a flashback to the mainland and they had $1.32/gal prices. Frown
4) Reduced Quantity and Quality of all their products, example Lays chip bags are smaller for more price. Grocery stores are generating their own products at lower prices but less quality. Plastic caps and 2 ltr bottles are shrinking down in sizes, at same or more prices.

5) Taxes are going up because of expirations while interest rates are near 0%.
6) Salary rates have shrunk and are remaining at lower levels, that is if you haven't been laid off or fired.
7) Everyone i know has been laid off. Guess what they do then besides try to look for other jobs? They talk about it, spread the word that Politicians are failing their citizens and country. Or they go protest and become Extreme Activist while self-sustaining themselves by growing food and getting of the utility grids with their own innovations.

What do you think about skyrocketing inflation? Have you seen this across all Slick Deals and the Forums?

So Gas is going up again, your groceries just spiked upward another time, and now your utilities are raising their fees again.
And yet you're still whining. It's funny how some things change while others stay the same LMAO

Not really, but in your case I'll make an exception.

You are truly what is wrong with America. You see a problem and you just bitch and moan about it whereas I get out there, wrap my hands around it's neck and beat it down or use it to my advantage. That's the difference between the strong and the meek.

Why don't you get out there and do something about it? Make some extra cash, build up a bigger financial safety net??? Because you'd rather bitch and moan on the internet about how bad things are and that the sky is falling when in reality it isn't...

Soo what's your net worth goal? $100,000,000? 80 hours a week working? Have fun with that.
Life isn't about working.

Don't you lemmings understand? Don't try to fight the rampant inflation! Just improve your Minecraft to create additional opportunities for Backyard Factory-Robot-Automatons and profit!

Your meek mind would assume that the only way to success is through working 80 hours a week.

Life also isn't about whining, bitching, and moaning on the internet yet you seem to have that down pat Thumbup

Funny thing is you didn't even deny that people like you is what is wrong with America either. Well, atleast you got one thing right in this thread.

This thread has made my day at work so much more enjoyable. Can't wait to get off, go to buy an inflated Publix sub and chips, then check back in on OP.

Checkout this Thread just posted on Popular Deals...about "Customer Surcharge Fees" on all Credit cards now being issued..
Credit-Card-Additional-Surcharge-Fees-to-begin-Jan-27th

LMAO

What does that have ANYTHING to do inflation? First off all, in order for a store to tack on the surcharge, that store can not accept AMEX. Of all the stores I know, only Runza does not accept AMEX.

Secondly, ANY chain with stores in California and 10 or so other states are not allowed to tack on a surcharge since those states BANNED surcharges. So since walmart has a store in California, they are not allowed to tack on a surcharge in ANY OTHER STATE.

Lastly, most stores WILL NOT want to tack on the surcharge, it will drive away consumers and give them a negative image over a few dollars! LMAO

So perhaps you should read up before sensationalizing everything....

I am saying to fight inflation. I have been saying this in all my threads.

You fight inflation by not depending on the government handouts, and by using your own sweat to grow your own crops, generate your own electricity, generate your own heat, and by building your own house and houses, that you can rent out and receive/barter for non taxed cash in hand.

Why do you even keep posting? All you do is keep making yourself look like a whiny leech... LMAO

Not to mention the not so sound financial "advice" you're giving could easily land you in trouble. Well, if anyone actually cared that is.

10% returns a month, pretty solid financial advice i am giving for free. You jealous?

What it takes initially is SAVING money and inflation prevents everyone, especially lower and middle classes from doing so. But wait, you don't care.
