Can confirm as well there was no tax for me in Cali. It's a special promo they are doing for certain TV's only. For example, I had been looking at the TCP65GT50, http://www.paulstv.com/Plasma-Tel...65GT50.asp and that actually has a banner on the right side middle indicating 'No Sales Tax!' with fine print just below stating '[except CA, CO, MA, MI, RI].'

No idea why...

Unequivocally YES....I have a samsung 60" ES7100 brand new LED that wud be going back to Amazon coz picture just plain sucks when compared to this Panny....I read hundered of reviews, scoured AVS forums, went to BB twice to see it in person...If u want real actual colors and not blown up flares like LED, then get this. I wud still suggest go to a BB and see it in person once.

Lowest was $2400 by Adorama.com last week which was expired. This is 2nd lowest I've ever seen personally.

I bought this TV few days ago which I PMed and got it through Best Buy for $2632 including tax.

It's replacing my Pioneer Kuro, and disappointed with the picture/sound quality. Overall my 60" Kuro has better picture and sound quality is was better. Sound quality is very cheesy on this Panasonic. It lacks detail and no bass what so ever.

Oh well, Pioneer stopped making Kuro years ago and only reason why I bought this was that it's 5 inches larger and 3D.

I am going to miss my Kuro. Long live the best TV ever made so far!
