Been reading the AVS forums along with everything else, was wondering about all the calibration talk. Has anyone gone that route and what was your satisfaction level before, and then after calibration? Thanks. |

When this deal launched last Friday, it was disappearing from the cart so I did a phone order (screwing me out of $50 fatcash...) Now the online ordering system is working today.

I'm going to wait until April/May. If the V50 inventory is depleted by then, so be it. It's a risk I'm willing to take. |

So, what your saying is your willing to spend an extra $1,000.00 in 4-5 months if you miss out on your price point, which currently is about $200.00 less from where it's priced right now............brilliant.....

I'm willing to risk not buying at $2500 now to see what happens. The 60 series will likely be slightly better. At worst I wait several months and get a VT60 for $2500 +- a few hundred, no big deal. If I pull the trigger now, the VT50 may drop further or we may find out that the panel is in the 60-series is far nicer. Yes I know prices will always drop in electronics and you could wait forever etc. In this case the 60 series has already been announced and will be out shortly. I'm willing to wait to see what it has to offer before making a decision. I don't gain much by rushing into buying something now. |
