Shitty resolution at that price.

Agreed very good specs but nothing to see here as far as a deal goes.

My son has this and it is one awesome computer. Nice build quality and awesome specs for the price. I find it funny that this one always gets thumbs down, while the 14 in exact same thing with 2 gig less ram gets a thumbs up. SD people bewilder me.

I think the fact that Ultrabooks are suppose to be 3 pounds and must have a SSD. This laptop is solid but is not a ultrabook

Acer will really need to move the bar on the timeline series. They used to be cutting edge, but with all the HI RES ultrabooks out there there are seeming more pedestrian which is a shame I used to lust after these things.

Acer is probably the only company that makes "Ultrabooks" with dedicated cards that aren't over $1000. This laptop is nice for the price regardless of the screen resolution. Also this one has a CD drive which is extremely useful if you don't use digitally downloaded games. What kills it for me is the tax. The 50promo comes right back on and the price after taxes is $700

Sorry to know your senior citizen eyes can't perceive high-density dot pitch, "retina displays" and so on. The rest of us can see it. This display is laughable in 2013.

No official requirement from Intel to be less then 3lbs. Also, this does have an SSD... just not only an SSD.
