Is there a reason to get this from Amazon instead of the Best Buy deal it is imitating? I'm thinking being able to return to a store would be nice.

I got this TV in October for $540 at Walmart after tax. Nice TV, very simple and basic. You will notice the 60mhz when you're close to the TV, but normal sitting distance, it looks fine to me. Didn't need a SmartTV as I have an Xbox for media center stuff.

Pulled the trigger, had Amazon credit to use up and NEEDED a 50-51" TV. Was going to hold out for plasma but this is a pretty good price.

Guys this is a very good TV. I had been tracking this model for last 2 months but the price was over 900. Even put price tracker at various sites.
Finally I gave up and bought the Panny plasma last week. |

PC use
It's not really PC use. It's an old laptop with a broken screen that I use to play videos from the web or an external hard drive. Anyway, it is moot because the Plasma doesn't have a PC input, so I wouldn't be using it with the Plasma for sure.
