what I did was I clicked on the yellow gadgets banner, went down to the kensington mouse and clicked on the item itself, NOT the "add to cart" that is right below it. then from the item's page i clicked add to cart. it was added to cart just fine but the 5% off code, despite being listed there after i'd applied it on an earlier attempt, didn't show on the price. oh well, it's only a difference of four or five cents. so i checked out through paypal and all was fine. placed order successfully.
