A few things:


First - people who are frugal save money so they can spend it on things that are important to them.


Second - a deal on an item that is higher in dollar value doesn't make the deal any worse. If someone values an item with a higher price and can manage to get it at a price better than the going rate, it's a win. Some people like BMW's and if they can get one for the price of a toyota, the value of the deal is worth more to them than getting the toyota for the price of a kia.


Third - if you save money on big ticket items, you have more money to spend on...other slickdeals!

YES! Saving $$ while purchasing a quality stroller that you love is very important. Not only because your walking experience will be more fun (the more expensive strollers tend to fair better in more types of terrain - (rocky, snowy, muddy & rainy, etc) but they also have better re-sale value, so you get a fair amount back when you are done on craigslist vs. having to toss it or donate it. In the long run it is very worth it.

People's priorities are atrocious these days o.O

If you use that diaper bag every day for over a year, than you are getting more moneys worth than fancy shoes. I dont think its selfish, especially if you are getting a slick deal on it in the first place.

My guess is that the mom who is spending $150 on a diaper bag (and later explains the value to you) probably is way ahead on her children's college savings than someone who espouses anti-consumerism and wild-a$$ judgments based upon pure speculation.

I signed up for Amazon mom today and am confused by the trial period. Does anyone know if I will get charged right away or not for 3 months. Mine was showing $39/year.

Also been looking for a jogging stroller for a while, but not good selection on the list for 20% off

The way I understood it is that you will have to cancel before the end of the trial period (for me 3 months) or amazon will charge you automatically at the end of the period.
