No BBB ratings or listings. https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecar...=rw-viewsc MyWOT doesn't have any ratings on them. Not saying this is bad, but I'm going to pass. Would like a trustable company with good reputation instead of none. Just my personal preference. |

I personally have been using https://www.inmotionhosting.com/ for past 4 years after researching for about 1 year who has the best features and customer service. A+ BBB accredited hosting. Im not going to convince you or anyone else they are better than any other company, but they suit my needs and have very knowledgeable tech support, more so than 1and1, bluehost, and fatcow, all which I have used and had problems with. Whomever you choose, make sure you chat AND call them first before signing up and asking them questions you may have or to have them repeat what's listed on their site to make sure their customer care know's what they are talking about...so in the event that you have a problem you know it will be taken care of properly. Google is your friend. War is between cPanel & non-cPanel. http://www.webhostranking.com/com...hostgator/ http://dealpays.com/blog/4/entry-...s-godaddy/ |

While m15x's rabid enthusiasm is certainly suspicious, this seems to be a good deal and Hostlatte seems to be reviewed decently well on other sites. Bought a 3-year plan at the top shared hosting plan tier (unlimited domains & hosting) for $85.68 after 60% discount, which is a pretty decent price even when I'm not expecting the best service ever.
One small note: I registered saying I would use a domain held elsewhere because I couldn't think of a new domain name. The 3-year plan is supposed to include free registration of a domain name, but now that I've registered I don't see the free domain registration offer anywhere. I've emailed support figuring it's just a small oversight, but buyer beware. Those who have new domains to register should probably get them up front for less hassle. Edit: Just got an email from sales support telling me they'll credit the free domain registration through a bit of a work-around, so good response time on the part of support. Still kinda stinks that you have to pursue them for it in the first place. Last edited by opheron; 01-20-2013 at 03:58 AM.. Reason: post update |

Bit the bullet. In for 3 years of Tall + an extra domain name for $57. Knock on wood..
FWIW, I registered a username/password before buying anything, so logging in afterward was automatic. I'm recommending doing that to avoid getting locked out like others have experienced. |

I was considering upgrading from tall to grande, and with the 60% discount they want 115 to upgrade, however it would only be $85 for a new customer, and Id get another free domain, so I'm a bit confused. |
