Batteries alone are worth it, even tho they are Ni-cad's. If you have other B&D tools they come in handy.

So what are the cons with Ni-Cads? I recently got this [ebay.com] and it would be nice to be able to swap batteries.

battery "memory" where you lose capacity to store, more weight, less power, longer time to charge.

Is this a good drill? I'm looking for one with enuff power & juice to wax the car with using a buffer attachment! Or do I need one with a chord for that? Sorry for the dumb question... I'm just a girl Smilie

I've had this drill for 4 years now. It's a good drill and still holding strong. The batteries suck.
