Is this a good drill? I'm looking for one with enuff power & juice to wax the car with using a buffer attachment! Or do I need one with a chord for that? Sorry for the dumb question... I'm just a girl Smilie

That's great except doesnt help those of us who already have the B&D 18V appliances and would like the TWO extra batteries. Which is what makes this deal. It's not the drill.

Will these batteries work on the black and Decker yard tools also? Does anyone know where to get a fast charger or multiple battery charger for these batteries. Slickdeal price would be much appreciated.

So what are the cons with Ni-Cads? I recently got this [ebay.com] and it would be nice to be able to swap batteries.
NiCads are still superior to lithium Ion for those that actually use their drills day after day. Lithium Ion is considered a better option for the casual "home user" since the battery will hold a charge for a long time and you're not required to keep it on a charger 24/7. NiCad's will go bad if not charged and drained often. Most recommend keeping the battery on the charger whenever you're not using them. As an example I picked up a B&D set that came with 4 batteries. I only pulled 2 of the batteries out of the set to charge and swap. 2 years later the 2 I never used at all would not hold a charge, so they were completely dead. This is my home drill and I sometimes go 4 or more months without using it so the battery that's not on the charger can run fully dead. This does not happen with Lithium Ion. I have read that Lithium Ion on the other hand does not like being drained completely dead and recharged day after day after day, so as I said above, NiCad for contractors or work if it gets used everyday, Lithium Ion for casual home use.

$7 cheaper than last time...just missing the bag. GREAT DEAL!!!!

But now I have too many batteries Wink At least I'm well prepared if any die Smilie
Keep them on a good recharging rotation or you'll find yourself with a bunch of dead batteries. (see above)

This is an ok/good drill, but what you want is a buffer. They sell 10" or 7" buffers for $20 at car parts stores (watch for sales) or look at wallyworld. Buffing your entire car with a cordless drill would be almost as hard as doing it by hand. BTW, my hat is off to you for being a GIRL that even wants to wax your car yourself!!!
